Satuit Technologies Releases v18.4: Meet Satuit Agent, Your AI Assistant Inside the CRM

August 21, 2026

Satuit Release 18.4 marks a turning point for the platform with the introduction of Satuit Agent, a conversational AI assistant built directly into SatuitCRM. Alongside this, v18.4 delivers new contact intelligence, tighter administrative controls, and a wide set of workflow refinements across the system. If you missed it, catch up on what shipped in Release 18.3.

Introducing Satuit Agent: Conversational AI Built Into Your CRM

Satuit Agent lets users ask questions, look up records, and make updates through natural conversation, no navigation or report building required. Users can look up contacts, businesses, activities, and other records, and create, update, delete, or move records directly through chat. The assistant understands relative date references like “today” and “tomorrow,” supports stop and cancel commands mid-conversation, and can run in an embedded mode for use inside other tools.

Administration keeps pace with the new capability. A new AI Configuration page lets admins enable or disable access by record type, and a Rep Permissions diagnostic tool shows exactly which functions each role can reach. Conversations are saved and restored across sessions, and a “Generate Ticket” button routes issues straight to Satuit Support. Under the hood, inline rate-limit feedback, per-rep token usage tracking, and automatic HTML sanitization keep usage transparent and secure.

Satuit Agent runs on Satuit’s new MCP/AI layer, and we’re rolling it out in two stages: test sites open September 1, with general availability and the ability to purchase starting September 28. A few things to plan around: Satuit Agent is a paid, add-on feature. You must be on v18.4 to use it, but it is not included automatically with the v18.4 upgrade, and it requires the Satuit API to be enabled on your account. Reach out to your Satuit representative to confirm what’s needed on your end ahead of general availability. Read the full story behind why we built it in our MCP/AI layer announcement, or see the features page for a closer look.

Smarter Contact Records with Age Tracking

Contact records now include a Date of Birth field, paired with an auto-computed, read-only Age field that is fully searchable and chartable. Any changes to Age are tracked automatically in the audit log, giving teams a reliable history without manual upkeep.

Faster Administration and Cleaner Data

A new Contact Auto-Update toggle in System Administration gives admins more control over how contact data refreshes. A new batch process auto-assigns business domains from email addresses, and contact imports now support alternate email and phone matching to catch duplicates that would otherwise slip through. The Account Recipient List can now be imported directly from Excel.

Refinements Across the Platform

Round 18.4 out with a set of smaller improvements that add up: new font families (Palatino Linotype and Carlito) in email templates, double-click editing for email templates, an Expiration Date field in the Mass Update tool, four new formatted text fields for Activity notes, alphabetical sorting for document attachments, configurable fields in the Outlook Add-in, a “View in Full Site” button in Satuit 2GO, a domain synchronization output file for admin review, Team Name available in search forms, vault credentials hidden from debug pages, and portal chart data download capability.

Built on a Strong Foundation

SatuitCRM v18.4 builds on the modernization and automation introduced across v18.0, v18.2, and v18.3, and takes the platform’s biggest step yet toward AI-assisted daily work. As always, this release also includes bug fixes and quality improvements driven by client feedback and internal testing. Clients are encouraged to visit the Satuit Support Portal for detailed case updates, or schedule a demo to see Satuit Agent in action and discuss add-on pricing and API setup.
