Satuit Version 18.1 is officially here and this release focuses on helping your team work faster, reduce repetitive tasks, and capture critical data effortlessly.
From click-saving shortcuts to automated contact creation, these enhancements were built to streamline your day-to-day activities so you can stay focused on building strong relationships and driving results. In this release blog, we will dive into new features and enhancements.
Workflow Efficiencies & Click Reductions
We’ve made key improvements across SatuitCRM to help users move through the platform more efficiently. The latest update introduces new button shortcuts designed to reduce steps, save time, and simplify common tasks.
Here’s what’s now available:
- Refresh: Quickly update a Browse List, Detail Form, or Summary Form, without closing and reopening.
- Pop-Out: View multiple records side-by-side by opening forms in separate windows for easier comparison and multitasking.
- Configure: Jump directly from a form or search result into the Configuration Tools to add, remove, or modify fields instantly.
- Copy Reporting Requirements: Duplicate an existing Reporting Requirement and easily assign it to another contact.
- Move Document: Transfer document records between Entities or Businesses, perfect for collaboration with external participants like Investment Consultants.
Auto-Add Contact by Domain
No more manual entry from email traffic! Our new Auto-Add Contact by Domain automation can create and enrich CRM contact records directly from Outlook or Gmail communications.
How it helps:
- Automatically pulls verified contact data from approved business domains
- Enriches records with name, title, phone, and LinkedIn (where available)
- Filters out non-business or generic email addresses (support@, info@, etc.)
- Uses smart duplicate matching for cleaner data
- Logs every auto-generated contact in the Audit Trail
Admins can manage the global sync settings in System Administration, and users can toggle the feature at the profile level, so each team has the flexibility they need.
This feature leverages the domain field now available on Entity and Business records to ensure only trusted domains are added to the CRM.
Additional Enhancements
This release also includes targeted updates that add more control and flexibility:
- Expanded Account Fields: 60 new custom text field options (cuserchar31–cuserchar90) give teams more space to capture the data they care about.
- Extended Portal Document Expiration: Portal Administrators can now set expiration dates up to 3 years out, supporting long-term document access workflows.
- Improved Calendar Display: Activities without a set time will now default to 12:00 AM, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
